Colleges

Welcome to our project.

This project is all about  sending young people on what they describe as a `Life Changing` experience, helping orphans in Bulgaria or Street Children in Turkey.

The trip lasts for 2 weeks which within these two weeks we will be:

     1. Decorating part of an orphange.
     2. Doing activities with the kids.
     3. Learning about Customs and Traditions of another country.
     4. Looking at career prospects.
     5. Most of all having fun & helping those less fortunate than ourselves.

Working with Colleges, we feel there are several benefits to the college:

     * Greater motivation for the Young People

     * Compliment existing courses

     * Can be used as an incentive

     * Enriching the experience of the Staff

     * A good way of disseminating the College

For the Young People the benefits include:

     * Greater accreditation, Euro CV, Europass, Host Country Certificate

     * Greater Career prospects, for instance EVS

     * A great insight to charitable and associated activities and careers

     * Improves employability, employers often look in to extra Curriculum activities

“When recruiting graduates for Marks and Spencer we look for the skills to help make them and our company successful. Volunteering can be a great way to develop those skills.” Helen Feltham, Director UK Retail HR

All expenses are covered, from the time you are collected to when you return home, including accomodation, travel, food, you even have a small allowance.

`Stockton Riverside College has run a number of visits with Bhagavat Educational Trust and have received excellent support throughout the project.

Students have had a life changing experience which has given them both a culteral education but also a deeper understanding of economic issues facing other other countries. The students now realise how fortunate they are in their own lives, have a greater sence of acheivement at what they accomplished in Bulgaria and have a fantastic addition to their CV. By participation they have broadened their personal life skills and broadened their horizons.`    Amanda hart - Assistant team leader.

If you would like further information I would suggest a meeting where we can discuss the project in more detail. This really is a life changing experience, so please do not hesitate to contact us you can e-mail on info@mutualassistance.eu or telephone +44 1172309903.

Looking forward to hearing from you!!
